One of the reasons I'm little hesitant of telling you what to do is that I'm not an expert on this subject. I have a certain amount of personal experience with it and I have read and studied it extensively. However, I still don't feel that I'm qualified to tell you what to do. That said, a second grade student can always teach a first grade student something. So I'll give you my two pennies and a basic understanding of the subject. I'll also point you to various resources that you can explore on your own and learn more. My recommendations I'm a big fan of fasting and colon cleansing, and would recommend that you explore this option. For cleansing my colon I'm using the Colema Board that I mentioned at the fasting chapter. I have found that colonics (or enemas) really help the detoxing process. They also make a fast much easier to go through by taking out the toxins from your colon. It's amazing how much lighter you feel after a colonic. Also just seeing what comes out of me is enough to convince me that I'm on the right track. I'm always cleansing my colon while I'm fasting. Whether it's a smaller 3-day apple fast or longer fast doesn't make a difference. I do it every time I fast. I have personally used the 7 Day Cleansing Kit from Vit-Ra-Tox. The kit contains supplements that help you to maximise the benefit of your fast and help you to go through it as easily as possible. The Kit contains all the essential supplements that I mentioned earlier. The only addition to the Vit-Ra-Tox kit I can think of are probiotics. The7 Day Cleansing Kit from Vit-Ra-Tox is developed to be used together with Colema Board. If you don't feel comfortable with the idea of daily colonics you can also try the Colon Cleansing Kit from Blessed Herbs. The Colon Cleansing Kit contains similar supplements than the 7 Day Cleansing Kit from Vit-Ra-Tox, but instead of colonics (enemas) The Colon Cleansing Kit uses herbal laxatives to expel mucus and toxins. Since toxic colon is the main culprit for acne I would strongly recommend colon cleanse as part of your acne treatment program. 35 Copyright © 2006, Seppo Puusa. http://www.natural-acne-solution.com |
