The whole idea of a one time offer (OTO) is to offer them something that isn’t available anywhere else. It should also have a reduced price tag so that it is literally too hard to refuse to the reader.

The reader of the special offer will only ever see it once and this makes people act on it a lot more. The user at this point in the sign up cycle wants to know how to gain their free gift so it’s important that you mention this before you present them with their OTO.
