Books of this type are very necessary, because we are in a world of disconnection. Mental illness is becoming more widespread and it is the "biggest disconnecter" of all. A friendly face and a kind word are all so easy to do and sometimes spark a connection that could prevent despair that will kill. Please be kind and make kindness contagious.

I lost my 25 year old son on 04-24-11 to suicide. It was like reading my own story -

inspirational, honest, recommend to all especially those struggling to cope with a loved one's mental illnes and/or suicide. Experience of dealing with the "mental health industry" is spot on! Delightful, humourous, family anecdotes bring smiles and laughter. A great read! Much thanks to the author.
