The Logological Fragments are of four sorts, poem, apothegm, essay and narrative. Their focus is the spirit of man. It is a book not intended for those whose Christianity is stronger than their humanity, nor for the theologian who loves his preconceptions more than their love of truth. They are Platonic, meaning they are of a dangerous sort.
By variety they aspire to survey the obscurities that guide all men’s thought: dialectical and conditioned by the proclivities of inherent nature.
