Lucy escapes from her abusive childhood home, only to find herself living in her car and pregnant with her drug dealer's baby. Her struggles to survive in a formidable world are sometimes shocking, sometimes very funny, sometimes sad, but they are all remarkable.

Thanks for your ebook.
I enjoyed reading about the struggles in Lucy's life and how the baby made a positive turn in her life. Those are very real every day problems and sollutions. Blessings to you and your loved ones.
I find this book very deep, dark but interesting. It brought to light the authors experience in a way that you were part of the main character in this book. I do not usually like this kind of reading, but was intrigue as to what the ending would be like.
A wonderful book. Very well written. I enjoyed it so much! And just could not out it away until I knew how it finishes.
Rebecca, thank you for this book and your thoughts!
A very simple narrative, however its simplicity drives the reader almost immediately to the middle of what could be any persons'life. Very realistic and beautiful novel. congratulations!
I thought it left too many unanswered guestions. Like at the very first when she hid from her father and then it went straight to when she was older and never mentioned that again. I was dissapointed.
I really enjoyed this book because a lot of it is similar to what I have gone through in life myself. And it shows that you can get out of situations if you are determined. It just takes something to break b4 you actually realize it.
This book was a excellent read. I enjoyed every minute, it didn't have a dull lull moment through the whole book. Thank you for a great story that had you rooting for Lucy and Keiran to make it to the end.
Ms. Raymer weaves a spectacular heart breaking story. My husband often asked why I was upset, was I laughing at him, was I going crazy and finally just said, "must be a pretty good book." Something in this book will touch you, bringing about tears or uncontrolled laughter or both. Years of unspoken memories will be unearthed, personal triumphs and devastating tragedies will be relived. At the pinnacle of her success Lucy is"us", that fragile yet resilient flower known simply as survivor. Thank you from the depths of my satisfied soul for penning this self help book disguised as a novelk. I recommend this to everyone, whether you recognize youre a survivor or not.
This was not a intense book. This book reminded me of a sunny lazy boat ride. The characters in this book were woven together like a fine patch-worked quilt. I thoroughly enjoyed the smooth unexpected twists in this book. The ending was nice and predictable. If I had chosen this book as one of my summer reads I would not have been disappointed.
wow....this is one of the best books I have read in a long time...I was interested the whole way through, and was sad that I couldn't find any other books by her :( Awesome read, can't tell you all how much I enjoyed this book :)
