Have read this several times, as science fiction it is wonderful, however it needs a little more science in the space rocket area to truly be a great work of science fiction.
A quick and easy read with a female protagonist. The characters are quite stereotyped but for simple reading to pass the time without a need for introspection or much thought, works well.
I found the book to be a fun read, the science sounding plausible, the political story sounding too true. There was some grammer issues, but I believe the author is not a native english speaker, it would help if he had a proof reader who was.
While I agree with a previous comments about grammar (I too thought that English might not be the author's native language) I found the book fun to read. It's not Niven but it's worth the time.
The frequent use of incorrect phrasing can be jarring but otherwise this is an enjoyable, if a little simplistic, book. Some of the science may be a little uncertain but then science fiction allows for that.
Teens would seem to be the best audience, though oldies like me who remember science fiction fro the 60's and 70's will enjoy it.
A few of the sections seem a little "preachy" but that is forgivable too.
Sorry, but this book is not ready for presentation to the general public. I suspect it was written by someone for whom English is a second language. Constant misplacement of adverbs, for example ("…replied at once Wa".) All this could be fixed by a good editor.Otherwise, a fairly simple plot, suitable for the YA market, although some of the content perhaps isn't, and it's pretty long for kids.
