If It’s to Be, It’s Up to Me is based on the adventures of Jeremiah and his friend Joshua. The story details the perils and environments of two young men experiences, as they grow, mature, and deal with the many challenges they must face while trying to “make something” of themselves. The book orchestrates and questions one’s values, beliefs and morals while going through those growing pains that occur during the “wonder years” of junior high. The dilemma of “…to be or not to be…” is the question that must be answered as they journey to OZ, the school they attend.
