There is hope for the world. The problem is that Luna does not realize the hope is her. After suffering through a global war that crippled humanity...how could one person be the hope for all that remain? All Luna really wants to do every day is get through work, enjoy a cheap beer with her friends at the local hangout then go home to rest up to do it all again the next day. One day it all unravels...she's attacked. The man who saves her unveils an unwelcome truth: that she alone is the key to preventing another catastrophic war. Luna's life is now spinning beyond her control, and she is taking her friends with her. Between the shadowy savior turned advisor and the goons attempting to kidnap her... Luna recognizes her once routine existence is long gone.

Roldan has put together a new idea, in a fairly light-hearted fashion, for a post-apocalypse world. An entertaining story with a few shortcomings. The bantering dialogue makes the characters indistinguishable. This may be the first book in a series, but the characters, including the baddies need to develop a bit. Spellcheck doesn't pick up misused words, eg casualty not causality. I'll read Book II in the hope that it improves, because this story has potential.
