It all starts in 2033. The European Union has become The United European Republic, headed by a President.
Two ministers, a police officer, a doctor and many pensioners living in old age homes throughout Europe die under suspicious circumstances.
Hugh Harrington, son of one of the dead ministers, suspects foul play and wants to find out what really happened to his father and is contacted by Steve McGregor, a retired Scottish homicide officer, whose friend also has died mysteriously. Is there a connection? Together Harrington and McGregor start an investigation, taking them to various European countries. Soon, someone is trying to kill them and they end up in a sinister political plot. Will they find out who is behind this before it is too late?
