Adding Content to the Website
Now that all the necessary settings are changed, it’s time to add some content in the form of pages and posts.
A Quick overview of the left pane:
The Dashboard: Shows Stats & Overall Information about your website as well as shortcuts.
Posts: Blog Posts – Writing Articles etc. is a good way of populating the posts/website.
Media: All uploads – files, music, pictures etc.
Pages: Website pages like Home, Contact Us, About Us, Products, Terms, Privacy Policy etc.
Comments: Comments can be left on posts by visitors.
Appearance: Look of the website – Theme | Widgets | Menu | Header | Background etc.
Plugins: Extra add-ons for the website like a contact form or captcha codes and more.
Users: User profile & administrator details. Currently you are the only backend user.
Tools: WordPress Tools like import & export services as well as other.
Settings: Already Covered! – General | Writing | Reading | Discussion | Media & Permalinks
