Inspector Stanley Mole doesn't mind a hard case, but things have gotten out of hand. There's a killer who escapes to a parallel universe, a frozen caveman with a bullet in his skull, a woman who claims to have witnessed her own murder, a toddler assassin, time-traveling dictators, and subatomic-particle sniffing butterflies. For Mole, this time more than just his reputation is on the line.

I don't know about the rest of the book, but the first page is definitely hilarious. I am 62 and I know exactly how this guy feels. Definitely someone I could have a drink with.

Colin Perini

Very well written. Humorous and laconic. What a laid back character, too fat and lazy to really try. Really enjoyed it.

David McBenge

This was a kind of read that seams to go on forever. The guy is kind of raving. You can hardly wait to hear what comes next.

Loula L. Gregg

This short book flew by, catching my interest from the first. I was hungry for more at the end and hope that Mole returns.

Jeffery Faulk

Short but sweet. A hard boiled detective yarn with a twist.
