A glorious summer day turns into a nightmare for 27 office employees in downtown Toronto, Canada. Mushroom-like creatures descend into their office building through a wormhole in space, capture and transport them to a life of slavery on a faraway planet. Living conditions are spartan, their captors oppressive, their future bleak. Led by Monty Dore, senior manager of the kidnapped employees, they learn to cope with their new lives, and, despite setbacks, continually plot to escape either back to earth or within the planet. The odds against them are great but can a rift between the two species that make up their oppressors be used to their advantage? That is Monty’s challenge.

Planet Dawn caught my attention right from the beginning of the story..What l loved the most about this book was l could not guess what was going to happen next..A very good read..
I found this book very interesting. I do not read too many sci-fi books but this one was worth the read. A cast of interesting characters, a good plot, and some things that make you think a little about why life is worth living even in tough times.
