Cindy accepts a housekeeping job on a remote West Texas ranch working for its stoic owner. Respect and admiration spawn love that sends their relationship out of control in fuzzy stages. A heartwarming love story.
The lovely story had many thoughts inspiring me............like pleasure should not be behind fishing, and the thoughts that provoked a very good feel about how to care a women in all various stages in her life...........and more concerned a good "family".
A simply delightful story that is not overburdened by too many characters. Russ and Cindy were well suited and It was heart-warming to see the relationship between them develop. The moral of the story for me was that we should not pay too much attention to the opinions of others and instead do what we think is right for us.
What a heart-warming story! An easy read and delightful characters.
I love the book and will definitely give it a second and third read. I particularly like the similarity of opinion of both Russ and Cindy though they are both regarded as eccentric by others.
This was easy reading and I enjoyed it very much. I would like to see more books written by this author.
Its an interesting book to read. You would be able to finish it quickly and it leaves a good after thought.
Nice love story enjoyed reading a lot l really like Russ's character. It's a must read love story.Looking forward to read another book from this author
Enjoyed reading this book. It holds your attention to the end. Want to read another book of this author.
This short story is one of the sweetest I’ve ever read and I just love Russ. Cindy and Russ’s relationship is hesitant at first and their courtship is definitely full of some miss communication and crazy sisters, but that made it that much more enjoyable for me. The love scene was really sweet and didn’t go into too much detail. My favorite moment in this story was when Cindy was ill and Russ took charge and made sure she was taken care of. It was such a tender moment and really said a lot about Russ’s character. I highly recommend this charming story o anyone looking for a sweet romance without a lot of detailed love scenes.
A simple book and still holds you to find more...
a very sweet story and wish it would have been a true novel length.
I'm reading it the second time to be able to imagine I'm Cindy and being loved like her :)
It's very romantic and wonderful. I never wanted the book to end... I loved it.
Very lovely and romantic story I couldn't stop reading. Loved it.
I could not put it down, it kept me up most of the night, and is a very hartwarming story
Its a good book, but I felt that the love scenes could've been a little more detailed. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
Nice love story, enjoyable.
What a lovely read. Old fashioned romance. I love the way the author made each character come to life it reads like you’re watching a movie and not in the least bit boring or filled with unnecessary detail. Keep them coming.
