Clippings

Clippings is intended to be a fun and interesting read that does not take itself too seriously. It spans the life of Donald Rivers, an ordinary man who befalls some extraordinary circumstances. I have written in epistolary format, picking out key newspaper articles, emails and text messages relating to his life.

I have deliberately left out Donald’s thoughts and opinions; in effect this story is a scrap book of vaguely related events.

Clippings plays with the idea of beginning, middle and end. It is an attempt at something different. It is not intended to change the world, only to provide a few minutes of entertainment. Sometimes I think that is all a story should have to do.

In effect Clippings is a story of a man who was born, lived then died
