Learn to make all kinds of breads at home.
There are too many so-called recipes calling for things like "frozen bread dough", "canned biscuits", "Bisquick", and bread machines. In the ACTUAL recipes, there are mistakes that are easily spotted by someone accustomed to baking but could ruin the recipe for a beginner (butter / sour milk - obviously MEANS buttermilk / sour milk ). Ingredients missing from the list of ingredients suddenly appear (without quantity) in the procedure. I always print recipes I intend to use, but many of these recipes can't be cut and pasted into a word processor because of a quirk in the formatting that causes the ingredients to print out thusly:

Extremely poor format of recipes!
It should be called Bread: 500 Ways. Has nothing to do with baking bread, just slathering cheese and other items on top of it
