Well said Gopinath.Nowadays anyone from any profession thinks they can edit religious scriptures , by modifying the content or by putting their own point of views, without even thinking for a bit whether they are appropriate for the job or do they have enough knowledge about it. My comment to the author of this book , if you would have written a biography on bill gates or steve jobs , then it would have been a lot better instead of jumping in the religious field without any knowledge about it. You have written under your profile , that we should truthfully tell the future generation that how we lived. . . and here you are writing false information that krishna drove arjun in a cart !! Shame on you .

Gopinath Kochattil

Gita deserves a better translation. Krishna didn't drive Arjuna in a "cart" as you put it but in a chariot. Basic grammar has gone for a toss. Read other translations, like the one by S Radhakrishnan, former President of India or The Song of God by Swami Prabhavananda and Christopher Isherwood. Above all get yourself an editor who knows English. Translating Gita is not a walk in the park. Don't insult the dummies.
