What would you do if you felt so trapped in a relationship that you couldn’t find a way out? Sienna Savarase and April Steadman form an unbreakable bond for life when they meet as newly qualified nurses on the Lilydale Psychiatric Unit. Naïve and somewhat unworldly they find themselves caught up in a maelstrom of human greed that pervades human nature and leaves them fighting for their souls. Two women running from torment, two women who must learn to trust and believe in themselves, two women who face the fight of their lives for sanity and freedom, two women struggling to find meaning and purpose in their lives, two women searching for self-acceptance amidst the dogging blackness that threatens to consume them. They both know that something has to change.
