Wonderful contemporary thriller written in a golden bygone age of mystery/thriller writing.

Very good story, but the typos made it difficult at times to understand and it took some of the enjoyment out of reading the story.

"Bat Wing" is a detective story in the style of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. It is very exciting reading. I loved the old English manner in which it was written. The author through the eyes of Mr. Malcom Knox (the Dr. Watson Character) sets the stage of the English town, its color, its grounds, and its inhabitants. The mystery and secrets of the inhabitants kept me wondering what was going to happen next. It was even humorous and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I liked the development of the characters. You are given a clear picture of their personalities although their secrets are not devulged almost until the end. I did figure out who was the culprit before the end of the story, but I still enjoyed the book very much.
