very interesting reads like the old mystery classics

Geoff Clynes

Really good yarn; starts slow and innocent, but accelerates the tension cleverly.

Violet Ashing

One of Sax Rohmer's best.

Jaymmem Morgan-Major

i really liked this book. It told a great detective story. The only criticism I had was I wish it could have been longer! Hope there is a sequel.

Jhenephyr

An extremely well written novel, very "Sherlockesque'! Characters are well rounded, typically 'stiff upperlipped' and Colonial English. Enjoyed the read!

Loraine smith

Couldn't stop reading till I had finished, although I had guessed the final outcome. A good read.

Mariella Vella

Dave Dornberg

Camilla

Sax Rohmer is one of the best!

Sisley John

too predictable ..you can guess who the murderer as soon as tht character is introduced..

sapperjohn59

Wonderful contemporary thriller written in a golden bygone age of mystery/thriller writing.

roberta

Very good story, but the typos made it difficult at times to understand and it took some of the enjoyment out of reading the story.

"Bat Wing" is a detective story in the style of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. It is very exciting reading. I loved the old English manner in which it was written. The author through the eyes of Mr. Malcom Knox (the Dr. Watson Character) sets the stage of the English town, its color, its grounds, and its inhabitants. The mystery and secrets of the inhabitants kept me wondering what was going to happen next. It was even humorous and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I liked the development of the characters. You are given a clear picture of their personalities although their secrets are not devulged almost until the end. I did figure out who was the culprit before the end of the story, but I still enjoyed the book very much.
