Really good yarn; starts slow and innocent, but accelerates the tension cleverly.
I enjoyed reading "Bat Wing". I was hooked immediately and would like to read more of Sax Rohmer's books.
This was the first of this author I read and was hooked
One of Sax Rohmer's best.
i really liked this book. It told a great detective story. The only criticism I had was I wish it could have been longer! Hope there is a sequel.
An extremely well written novel, very "Sherlockesque'! Characters are well rounded, typically 'stiff upperlipped' and Colonial English. Enjoyed the read!
Couldn't stop reading till I had finished, although I had guessed the final outcome. A good read.
Great book... can't wait to read more from Sax Rohmer
Very detailed and a great read!
Sax Rohmer is one of the best!
too predictable ..you can guess who the murderer as soon as tht character is introduced..

The mystery and secrets of the inhabitants kept me wondering what was going to happen next. It was even humorous and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I liked the development of the characters. You are given a clear picture of their personalities although their secrets are not devulged almost until the end. I did figure out who was the culprit before the end of the story, but I still enjoyed the book very much.
A collection of dark and esoteric poetry. Antiquity, mystic archaic, arcane. A beckoning magical realm, reality by and by measures diminished. An exciting and harrowing journey into the occult subconscious and beyond. Genesis of initiation, perception and conscience transcending, rising from depths within significant sound & vibration. Reverence, the pleasures received, bask in the enlightening es...
