With war looming on the horizon, an enigmatic stranger befriends Arantur, and takes him on a journey of self-discovery and adventure. ‘Arantur’ will appeal to readers aged sixteen years and older.

Not a bad read. Got caught up enough to want to see what happens after the first book of the trilogy, so I went off searching & bought the remaining two books. Map is a bit hard to read on eReader, so I printed it from my PC. Nice escapism!

Ms. Fyrth has an extremely good control of all her characters. Bringing each one into focus for reality for the reader. She keeps her readers interested by introducing many angles to her stories. She is a master of story telling. Even though her stories are dreamed up in her mind, her readers have an uncanny view that they could just as well be real. "Arantur" is no exception.
