Hey, if you have some time to read………., this book brought back so many memories from when I had seen this movie…………… I could picture it, I could picture Marilla and Matthew and Anne, and Diane………….
Forever I have loved these stories of Anne of Green Gables. I remember when they came on a PBS special, Anne of Green Gables then Anne of Avonlea, my mother could not get me outside because I was so into the life of this young girl who grew into a woman. I recommend these books by Ms. Montgomery because they take you on an andventure of growth.
Anne of Green Gables is a fun and touching tale about a lively young orphan girl adopted by an old couple, and her many escapades and adventures on their farm and throughout her young life.
Anne of Avonlea is Lucy Maud Montgomery's amazing sequel to her triumphant Anne of Green Gables. The story continues the life of Anne Shirley, a 16-year-old girl on Prince Edward Island, as she gets into scrapes, becomes Avonlea's school teacher, and allows her vivid imagination to carry her through it all.
In this book Anne Shirley is married with six children, but the book focuses more on her new neighbor, the new Presbyterian minister John Meredith, as well as the interactions between Anne's and John Meredith's children.
