Really awesome...a very moving novel...
Excellent book. Especially I like the way as Tolstoy describes motherhood.
The dislikes don't realize this is regarded as one of the greatest novels of all time, oh well, its good dude
this unique story describes woman feelings written by a man, which made the novel a great one.
A great story, written by a great man.
Beware- The jacket cover shown for this book is the one from the Pevear translation. The text is from the older Garnett translation. Big difference.
Great story, if a little difficult to read due to the odd english usage, the characters and plot are fantastic - no wonder it's a classic!
As usual for writers of the past centuries, this is not just a romance, just a story. It's mixture of different characters, visions and approaches to life. It's social review. I contains lots of philosophical ideas for everybody who also is searching for the right way in his own life.
I didn't care for the style of writing. I found it difficult to keep my interest.
Great creation by Leo Tolstoy
