Author: Sam Vanknin, Ph.D.
A thorough and informative introduction to issues concerning the Narcissistic Personality and Abuse
I found Mr. Vaknin's book a most excellent follow-up to his Malignant Narcissism Revisited. I am only a lay person, but my own experiences with a man existing, in my belief, somewhere on the continuum of narcissism to psychopathy have me greatly appreciating authors who write about the victim and torture, as well as shifting reality. Unlike Mr. Vaknin, I can't help but wonder if much isn't really more than disorder, but an entirely different perspective of the abuser where his brain simply does not register empathy.
