When Roric was born little did he know that his family would die violently and that his world would crumble only to later find himself chained into the life of a slave forced to survive in the world of the arena where every match meant death for someone, but he survived and one day he escaped. A Warrior’s Redemption is the beginning of a family saga that starts with a boy named Roric. He lives in a distant world that is full of unrest, where disputes are settled by the sword. Little is known about how they came to this world, only that they came from a place known as Earth, in the distant past. How they came is a mystery that some want to discover again while others would gladly die to keep those secrets from ever seeing the light of day. Roric finds a reason worth fighting for. He grapples with the long held secrets of his family and decides to fight so that his people can remain free. He rises above his humble past to become a leader that inspires a nation and becomes a legend.

I and my husband agree with other posted comments. The story line is good, we liked the integration of christian values, and the characters were ones with which we could empathize. However, the grammar and editing are very weak. Improper use of homonyms, poor sentence structure, and restatement of the same idea several times make it hard to follow at times. We love the series, the action, and the characters. Guy, you need a proof reader that has a better grasp of the English language. We will persevere through the rest of the series as we enjoy the story line. I myself have gone on to read the entire series and now read it out loud to my husband. I have read the "Agent" series too. The same problems persist for the grammar in the "Agent" series.

I loved all four books in the series. I however wish that whoever edited these books had done so with a more discerning eye. Then and than were used incorrectly, and there were lots of grammatical and sentence construction errors that required the reader to stop and pause. It was great to read a story that supported Christian values, though perhaps these could have been woven more intricately into the story.

A pretty good plot with good pacing, with an intriguing idea: what does Christian community look like in a fantasy setting. I kept reading because the story is good. The writing itself, however, feels very underdeveloped and amateurish. Bad analogies, cliches and colloquialism trample any feeling of atmosphere. If you can set the writing style aside, it's a pretty good read.

Loved this series!!!! Also it is considered Christian fiction for anyone who doesn't know.A

The story was Ok but I got annoyed with the loosely disguised bible preaching -- wish I hadnt downloaded the rest

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Guy Stanton III

I’m a dreamer, a poet, a lover, a husband, a father, and a man of God. I’m inspired by what I’ve seen and what I’ve read, but what I create with my words is where I dream. I pray for inspiration, and I enjoy what I have written just as I hope that others will as well. I’m a quiet man on the outside, but writing has become the playground of my soul to express itself in the grandeur of the created worlds and tales that I have been fortunate enough to dream of. The best way to find out more about me is to read my books. I write from the heart and I express both my shortcomings and my triumphs. I like to think of my writing as 'Reality Fiction'. I tell it like I see it. Life is short and the troubles many, but with faith in Jesus Christ all things have become possible to me. I may write 'make believe', but I strive to live out what I write. I enjoy my work and I hope you do too. Have a blessed time reading my imaginative thoughts. Sincerely, Guy III
