It was early on a Saturday morning. The sun glared through a
dust haze. The wind gusted, first one way, then another. The
forecast was for fierce winds and high temperatures.
Mike watched as Pete tied his hat firmly and pedalled away.

as his wife set his breakfast on the table.

family – my guess is that he suffered some tragedy when he was
younger and was brought up in a home. But maybe not – he
