Making Easter cards is a fun and creative activity for children of all ages.
The cards can be made with white paper folded in half from top to bottom then folded again
from left to right.
The cards can be decorated with drawings, paint, glitter or stickers.
Include a message inside and on the back make sure to add ‘Handmade by ’
EASTER EGG CARD
To make a card shaped like an Easter egg, fold a piece of paper in half along the longer side.
Draw a large egg shape on it making sure that the egg touches the folded side.
Cut out the egg shape leaving part of the side fold joined.
Decorate the front like a colorful Easter egg using bright colors and glitter.
Write a message inside and add ‘Handmade by .’ on the back.
EASTER BUNNY CARD
To make an Easter bunny card, fold a piece of paper in half along the longer side.
Draw an Easter bunny with long ears on the front of the card with some of the bunny touching
the side fold. You can draw just a bunny’s face and ears or a whole bunny.
Cut out the bunny shape leaving part of the side fold joined.
Decorate the bunny by adding features. Color the ears pink and add glitter. Cover the bunny
with cotton balls.
Write a message inside. ‘He’s coming! Have a Happy Easter.’ could be used.
PRINTED CARD
The card on the following page can be printed on white paper or colored paper and then
decorated.
To make the card, cut around the edge of the large rectangle.
Fold along the horizontal line. Then fold along the vertical. Decorate the card with colors,
paint, glitter etc.
