Playtime: 5 hours

Three young Victorian gentlemen imagine they are unwell and need a holiday. They decide to hire a boat for a week or two on the Thames. Bad weather, incompetence at cooking and camping, misunderstandings and a grumpy dog eventually dent their enthusiasm for the whole thing. This comic classic is beautifully written and along with the laughter the listener imbibes a wonderfully atmospheric account of English history.
